About the Author
Mikaya Hearty is an award-winning author who grew up in Scotland and moved to the boonies on Northern California when she was thirthy. She built her own house out of recycled lumber, ran an organic market garden, and was the first person in US to raise organic free range pork commercially. She happily left all that left behind when she sold up to go travelling. Now, when she’s not kitesurfing, she runs workshops on how to operate from a place of trust instead of fear.
