What’s Behind the Words?
Ron Lemco
About the Book
So, you are looking at the back cover. I thank you for that. It is the first step for me selling you a book.I have my work cut out for me as I am an unknown writer who has published 3 novels and a book, and other than selling friends and family, and about 500 people I do not know, I have not been very successful. I am told by people who read my books that they enjoy what they have read.
What’s Behind the Words is a novel mixed with my life stories and poems that coincide with the story just told. Here is a synopsis of what the book is about.
Born in the Bronx on August 16, 1948, the book fast forwards to 1957. I had no clue that a world outside of the Bronx existed. I had yet to see a live cow, I had never been anywhere other than Orchard beach with my three brothers and mom and dad. I see my years in the Bronx as fun years, and I write of the humor as my eyes display my growing up. But it is my life recorded in 30 journals that the book is about.
Running away from the Bronx at age 12 with a Bronx tough kid attitude and a seventh-grade education, my life as follows is spending 4 years in a traveling carnival and living as a gypsy and learning the lifestyle and the con games that come with the experience. My first wife dies, and I end up raising my 2 year old baby boy.
Married the third of five marriages and living with a girl other than my wife, we rob a bank and get caught and sent to prison for forty years. It turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I married my fourth wife while I am doing time.
I must end this as a back cover, as it can only be so long. I survive prison with my degree from high school and an AA college degree, and learning the most valuable lesson in life… the value of freedom.
I marry for the fifth time, and 41 years and five kids later, I am writing this most unorganized back cover.
The book is full of humor, learning, poetry of life, and just a fun read. Thanks.

Parents will want to share this story with their children and with their friends.About the Author

I Can Do This
Laura Mae Murphy
About the Book
This book, these Stories, were intended to be used by anyone who has the ability to help these individuals fit in wherever they go. If teachers could use these stories to introduce the problem and possibly the solution to the students prior to the introduction of the student with special needs or problems, there wouldn’t be so much apathy in the world. In using animals instead of names, there is no chance of anyone misunderstanding and transferring any of these topics onto anyone specific.
I’ve tried to cover as many issues as I could: communication, deafness, blindness, birth defects, epilepsy, amputees, etc. But the most important goal is acceptance. There could be role playing (i.e., someone could be the cow or the beaver or the iguana). Interaction could play an important role in getting the message across.
About the Author
Laura Mae (Lewis, Murphy) was born in Philadelphia as number two of nine children. She and her family moved twenty-three times in seventeen years, and she often went to three schools a year. Each move brought challenges, trying to catch up academically while trying to fit in socially.Deafness runs in her family and she is raising a mentally challenged daughter, Dawn Rene, who has right temporal lobe epilepsy and is bipolar. At forty-five, she functions at a 4.6 level but her biggest handicap is that she looks normal and everyone expects her to be normal. She becomes flustered and sometimes doesn’t understand why they don’t understand.

In Search of the Lost, Volume 3
Somewhere East of Eden
JEFFREY ELLIOTT CRUZ & EMILY JANE ELLIOTT NARDACCI
About the Book
“””In Search of the Lost: Volume 3″” is the sum accumulation of the authors’ personal perspective and search for meaning within the context of the life journey. In hindsight, Volume 1 is the essence of the authors’ beginning, while Volume 2 is the poets’ attempt at looking toward the light. Volume 3 is beyond the metaphorical Eden, sojourning, into the diversity of the world domain, highlighted by a connection with his deceased father. It is both Emily’s and Jeffrey’s hope that readers may take a poetic and lyrical ride on this metaphysical life safari.

The Story Of A Man
Marvin A. Hayes
About the Book
The Story Of A Man is a collection of poems that express emotions of love, pain, laughter, wisdom and self-reflection. Poetry has always been a passion of mine and it later became the avenue to express the memory of the comings and goings of my existence. This is the reason why I chose the title, “”The Story Of A Man.”” Many of the poems were written during my years in undergrad. My college years came and went; however years later I contemplated publishing them. It was then I decided to begin the journey to publish the story of my life. When thinking about the book cover and what I wanted to express to the reader, I chose to use my drawing of Muhammad Ali. Ali is one of my favourite hero’s and a poet himself. In fact the first poem in the book is about Muhammad Ali, a man with an amazing story of struggle and triumph. I selected his picture in hope of attracting the attention of readers who understand each person has an individual story. Just like Ali we all too may experience struggles, pain, and triumph. This book also includes photos that show that my life has been very full.
The photos in the book include pictures of my wife of 50yrs. Mrs. Geraldine Elaine Robinson Hayes, and our legacy which includes my two older children and our five children which makes for 30 grandchildren. I hope that each reader enjoys the poems and pictures and it encourages them to embrace the story of their own life.

Tales from the Disenchanted and Wisdom from the Haiku
Diana Leavengood Blanco
About the Book
“My poems are oftentimes born from some great sadness.
They usually speak of things that have been lost.
They try to catch the soul and trap the memory –
To tell the story…true…and– what–the cost.
I rhyme because it helps me to remember.
I rhyme so I must measure every word.
I rhyme to help those lost things live forever.
In rhyming, lilting, steeped-in-meaning verse.
Words can prevail past flesh or thoughts or empires,
And words can make souls live beyond the grave.
So Man will ever know the wonder of them –
The courage that they showed…the joy they gave.”About the Author
“After graduating from Duke University, I lived with my grandfather at the base of Diamond Head, travelled to Tahiti, hitchhiked across the face of Europe, then lived the life of an educated, working vagabond. I finally settled in California where I found…then later lost…a husband.
I worked for an amazing man who was a small animal veterinarian, a famous man who was an amazing thoroughbred racehorse trainer, and then a major newspaper. I bred and raced slow racehorses, ever hoping for a fast one. I was raised by my two children. Now that they are off to seek their fortunes, I am left to look back upon my life and see that it has fallen quite short of what I had imagined it would be. Most of the dreams are shattered or completely unrecognizable.
One of my fondest dream has been to tell the stories, meet out the wisdom, and paint the pictures of courage, beauty, love, tragedy, and cruelty in my poems and then give them to the world. If this one dream of all the dreams can now be fulfilled, perhaps I will find peace… ”

STOP trying to prove YOU’RE right AND START proving GOD is right
Eugene Abe
About the Book
“This book was impressed on me by the Lord, to wright these messages in poetic form. Never did anything like this in my life. As God would give me little titles I would wright them on paper which I kept in my pocket. Then most times within a week or two it would end up as a sermon in poetic form. This book covers multiple subjects which each of us face in life.
This book is designed for whoever reads this book, to cause you to think things out, and then to form your own thinking as how God would have you process it.
The emphasis of this book is to read and study it with an open mind, as you study the scriptures on your own. The reason there are few scriptures in this book is to cause you to want to search the scriptures yourself, to prove whether it is right or wrong. That is why God’s word informs us in 2 Timothy 2: 15, “Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
This scripture informs us that we are to study God’s word in order to find what God requires of us, what he empresses on our heart as taught by Jesus to us in Matthew 25: 14-30.
When we read and study God’s Word, read it with an open mind, asking him what he has for you today. We will never know it all, for we will keep learning till Jesus comes, or we leave this earth. Never allow people to put a guilt trip on you that you must know it all.”About the Author
It has been an amazing journey for this 74 year old man which has been a Christian for 62 years. Yet it has taken him to heights in the Lord, which he never dreamed possible. This has been an amazing journey for him as God has put a zeal in his heart like never before. For a man which never liked to study, and English was one of his worst subjects, yet God has put a hunger in his heart to be sure he knows the word properly. He has taken to heart, that he can be wrong in his thinking, and that he is more than willing to change to God’s way rather than his own thinking. He is not interested in man’s thoughts, but only God’s. Knowing That Christ is coming soon.
Because of his hunger for the truth, God woke him up one night and gave him the thought, which has become the title of this book. He is totally convinced that any one which puts this truth in effect in their life, their life will be totally renewed in Christ. So much of the teaching which he once embraced was proven to be nothing but half-truth. It has given him a greater zeal than ever before, to find truth.

My Dreams
Humanly Impossible; Supernaturally Possible
Waverly Shaw Creecy Knight
About the Book
For a season, my dreams seemed humanly impossible. There were times I would daydream about life without challenges. Then, I began to daydream about life without Christ. My daydreams have now become dreams that are supernaturally possible for me to achieve.About the Author
