PEE WEE: Serial Killer or Homicidal Maniac
A Novelized True Crime Story, Volume II
O. Grady Query
About the Book
Volume II of PEE WEE, Serial Killer or Homicidal Maniac, focuses on the courtroom drama of his several trials and appeals. Readers that enjoy trial strategy, courtroom personalities and the cloakroom maneuvering of the criminal courts will find a plethora of intriguing twists and turns. Seemingly foregone outcomes are reversed by national events or by the local politics of the farmlands of South Carolina that stubbornly resist change. It is replete with excerpts from actual trial transcriptions and transcripts of out of court statements given under oath. Despite his numerous murder convictions Gaskins manages time and again to avoid the death penalty in real life by virtue of unexpected events that could seemingly occur only in fiction. Told by an attorney intimately involved in the cases, there are pithy descriptions of battles fought in and out of the courtroom on the one hand and on the other of the camaraderie between adversaries. Both often lead to unpredictable outcomes. Pee Wee Gaskins describes the murders to which he will plead guilty in his own words. At the same time by either omission or outright lies, he avoids the inclusion of those murders for which he does not want to admit responsibility. Finally, in one of the most incredible crimes imaginable, the tiny killer foils the safeguard systems of a maximum security penitentiary to murder a fellow death row inmate with plastic explosives.About the Author
GRADY QUERY is a practicing attorney in Charleston, South Carolina. He has written the story of Pee Wee Gaskins, based on his years of representation of the diminutive mass murderer. Court appointed to represent Gaskins Query spent hundreds of hours in court, visiting crime scenes, interviewing witnesses and simply listening to his client. This book while fictional is based largely upon those experiences and the direct information gleaned from his time with Gaskins. -
A Flash of Spanish Eyes
Cyril Lucas
About the Book
Set in the idyllic wine country of Provence some 40 years ago A Flash of Spanish Eyes tells the love story between Richard Fortescue, a down on his luck Formula One racing driver, and Boom Boom, a young Spanish woman determined to live life on her own terms. Brought together by chance, they find themselves embroiled in a complex web of smuggling and deadly deals.First, there’s the ‘champagne war’, a deadly conflict between Genghis Cohen, a seedy and disreputable London businessman, and the Corsican Mafia over the right to buy the sparkling wine made by Boom Boom’s family. Then there’s the Shrine to Saint Sarah, the latest money-making scheme hatched up by Genghis and his outrageous assistant, Eulalia, for his vineyard in Provence.
Add a retired British Vice Admiral expert in the phallic Roman archeology of the ancient land of Oc, a Senegalese terrorist determined to protect Allah against the heresy of a formidably unorthodox Preacher and a gang of supporting characters and what follows? Unalloyed mayhem? Not in the least!
Clever, witty and fun, A Flash of Spanish Eyes is a skillful blend of romance, mystery and history. Join Richard and Boom Boom as they evade danger and outwit their adversaries on this adventure of a lifetime.
Nine photographs of Provencal Wine Country included.

Many of my short stories are written from every day thoughts. Look on if you want to read the unusual, in a category you may fit into, or maybe not. Step into the ‘LAND of PHILANTASY’ to find the depths of your imagination.
About the Author
Twelve years of Catholic School; liking, loving, learning, understanding and accepting all the unanswered questions had a universal word. A word I believed fully until the church started changing the rules. Even that, with reservation, was –OK! I’ll hang on to the magic word. Next came the most precious of all to be changed, the communication between the creator and myself, the meditation of the mass. This was what tainted the magical, universal word. This word needed answers. Through much reading, thinking, conversing and meditation. A philosophy about life and death has given me my magic universal word back, my magic word is again untainted you will see it in my writings. It is called “FAITH,” “FAITH OF LIFE”, and “FAITH OF DEATH”. It is called “UNIVERSAL FAITH.”I was literally coerced into writing a weekly auto racing column in a fairly large newspaper. This expanded into an additional bi-weekly column in a popular auto racing paper. The point being, a writer is generally told, write what you know best.

Land of Philantasy
Ralph Pilolli
About the Book
One whose mind is intrigued with tales of the unusual will discover them once their imagination steps through the archway leading to the ‘Land of ‘Philantasy’. Sculptured onto the obelisk are the titles of eight short s tories, a novella and a ditty. These are not the run-of-the-mill (so to speak) type of stories. They are what I call ‘Philantasy’, a coined word. They are all a touch of philosophy with the imagination of fantasy, so welcome to the Land of Philantasy.About the Author
