The Story Of A Man
Marvin A. Hayes
About the Book
The Story Of A Man is a collection of poems that express emotions of love, pain, laughter, wisdom and self-reflection. Poetry has always been a passion of mine and it later became the avenue to express the memory of the comings and goings of my existence. This is the reason why I chose the title, “”The Story Of A Man.”” Many of the poems were written during my years in undergrad. My college years came and went; however years later I contemplated publishing them. It was then I decided to begin the journey to publish the story of my life. When thinking about the book cover and what I wanted to express to the reader, I chose to use my drawing of Muhammad Ali. Ali is one of my favourite hero’s and a poet himself. In fact the first poem in the book is about Muhammad Ali, a man with an amazing story of struggle and triumph. I selected his picture in hope of attracting the attention of readers who understand each person has an individual story. Just like Ali we all too may experience struggles, pain, and triumph. This book also includes photos that show that my life has been very full.
The photos in the book include pictures of my wife of 50yrs. Mrs. Geraldine Elaine Robinson Hayes, and our legacy which includes my two older children and our five children which makes for 30 grandchildren. I hope that each reader enjoys the poems and pictures and it encourages them to embrace the story of their own life.

Is This The End?
Dr. Dean Lang
About the Book
Dr. Dean Lang has been studying and teaching Bible Prophecy for more than sixty years starting as a teenager. He teaches these profound prophecies in simple and easy to understand language. People who have heard him speak say, “he paints word pictures that I can understand”. People feel that something is about to happen. Dr. Lang not only teaches you what, but how to prepare for it. “Signs of the end times” is that people will run to and from all over the earth and that knowledge will be greatly increased for example computers, smart phones, IPads and electronics. You may be reading this book in hard cover, paperback, or eBook anywhere in the world. Is this not a fulfillment of this prophecy? God destroyed the world with a flood, but had Noah build an ark. Sadly few people were on it. Don’t you make this mistake? Is there an ark for an escape this time? Yes, read about it in this book. Christians look for the second coming of Christ, referring to the rapture, seven years later when we come back with King Jesus Christ to earth. Moslems look for their coming Messiah Madhi. As I write Moslem countries are toppling the old leaderships and preparing for this new leader. He will take over the world; food shortages worldwide will kill millions and perhaps billions of people. Those who do not worship him and take his mark 666 will be beheaded. A time of hell on earth. The Jews look for their coming Messiah to bring in the thousand year millennium of paradise on earth and He will. Read this book and act upon it today. You can escape all of this if you will repent and accept Christ before the rapture. If the antichrist has already set up his new world order read and act upon it quickly. It will probably cost you your life for now but real soon you will come back to live with King Jesus. You will find out where we all came from. We started in the Garden of Eden which was in Babylon, now Iraq. The first world.

YOU
Vane Lashua
About the Book
For the past 50-some years I have been threatening to write a book. I’ve written poetry, political essays, lettersto-the-editor and stories about my life. Some of these are included here. Originally I wanted the title to be “Accidental Tourist” until I found that there is a play and movie by that title. Because I’ve often found life events and direction somewhat random, it came to me as a good description. Then, because of a need for a new title, “You” emerged. As a young teen, I read the prologue poem by Auden from a Look magazine page. At first reading, it assigns life’s negative influences to another. As I “matured”, I came to realize that my “Overfamiliar Dense companion” is me — each of ours. I preserved and reflect often on that original page.About the Author
Working in a family print shop as I grew up led to my career, first in education and then to publishing and dramatic technology development — with R.R. Donnelley, Readers Digest, and Sothebys over 50 years. While working at Columbia University for 5 years “at the turn of the century”, I became fascinated with geothermal energy technology and have since attended conferences and visited geothermal energy sites. (http://thnktnk.net/drill.html) is a paper I wrote on the subject. Presently I am involved in several community organizations (Library, Park, Arts, Downtown, Bird Sanctuary) in my hometown where I moved five years ago from New York. I live there with my fiancée whom I re-met at our 50th high school reunion. We have enjoyed Europe, China and US0 travels together. -

Darryl Hester
About the Book
His poetry is based on reality and life’s every day experiences. His words capture the tone and feelings in which we all express, but sometimes are afraid to speak.About the Author
Darryl Hester, born in Oxford, North Carolina in early 1964. He has been acknowledged as one of the few gifted new poets and short story tellers of the Century, His poetry is based on reality and life’s every day experiences. His words capture the tone and feelings in which we all express, but sometimes are afraid to speak. Darryl grew up in Oxford North Carolina across the fields, from the first black “Negroe Orphanage” that was established in 1819. There as a child he played with orphan children, often getting in trouble for being on the grounds. Darryl had a heart of gold never judging anyone for their misfortune. While living in a southern rural community in Granville County. Darryl at an early young age experienced the discrimination of negroes and southern riots. The desegregation of all white schools. Where his sisters experienced the results of Roe V Wade Congressional decision.
Darryl later moved to Camden, NJ with his mother in attempt to escape Jim Crow and the unfair racial bias and discrimination of the south. It was their where he learned to defend his southern roots among the young city slickers. Darryl Later would graduate from Camden High School. He was accepted to
Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University where he planned to study Aviation and engineering. It was within one blink of an eye, that his life and goals would change.
